"Hey Guys!

How are you all?! I’ve had a great few weeks. It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago and I had a great day. I had a party back up in Newcastle with all my friends and family. We all went to a restaurant and had so much fun, it was great to spend some quality time with everyone. I would like to say a massive Thank You to everyone that sent so many lovely presents and cards - I loved them all.

I went to see Leona at the O2 arena in London which was fantastic!! And, then AGAIN in Newcastle - her voice is absolutely amazing. It made me want to just get onstage and sing haha!! Last week I sang at an event in Scotland organised by The Sun’s Gordan Smart. The sun was shining and once again I was stuck in a boiling hot marquee haha!! We had so much fun and the crowd were very supportive!!

So after many many meetings and discussions about the album, we’re now soooo close to recording and I’m very excited! I cant wait for you all to hear it when it’s finished.

Some of you may have heard that I am now an Ambassador for the Teenage Cancer Trust. I’m so honoured to be a part of this charity – they do brilliant work across the country. and I want to help out as much as I can to support them. I’m also going to be running the Great North Run in September for the TCT which will be an experience! I haven’t really begun full training yet so I need to get started!!

New Blog - New York, Big Weekend and More!

"Hey guys! It’s been so long since the last blog! I’ve been doing loads of exciting things. I went to see Rihanna play at the 02 in London, I was lucky and got to meet her and she actually remembered me from the X Factor! She was lovely.


I also went to New York which was amazing!!! I ate lots of food - the pretzels are huge and taste incredible lol! I also ran in Central Park and felt like I was in a film haha!! We had a very exciting meeting about the album - can’t wait to tell you all about it!! I also managed to see a Taylor Swift concert and met her backstage.


Last week I performed at Radio One’s Big Weekend which was very surreal after watching it for so long on TV and listening to it on the radio. I sang two tracks in the Live Lounge tent which was boiling!! I could hardly breathe it was that hot. I then performed on the 5:19 stage which was on a open top bus - it was sooo cool! I managed to catch up with Cheryl just before she did her set on stage and I met Diana Vickers and Kelly Rowland who were both so nice.


Just the other day I met the producer of my album - I was ecstatic but I can’t reveal who it is just yet!! Can’t wait to tell you all. I’ve just been camping in the Lake District which was great except that the weather was bad but never mind!!
